About

The Sunny Knable Music Studio has been operational since 2001 in California and moved to New York in 2006. Mr. Knable has taught children of all ages, adults and seniors in a variety of lessons including classical piano, jazz piano, popular styles, composition, arranging, theory, guitar, drums and accordion. With degrees in piano, jazz, composition and theory, and years of experience teaching, Mr. Knable is able to tailor his teaching to the student's needs and passions. He is in the process of recording practice videos on the SKMS YouTube Channel for students to use at a home. Feel free to reach out with questions any time.

Location

All lessons are normally held at The Church-in-the-Gardens at 50 Ascan Ave, Forest Hills, NY, in person (Zoom lessons are an option but not preferrable).

Recitals

There are 2 recitals per year: one in December and one in June

Sunday, December 17 at 4:30 pm and 5:30 pm

Sunday, June 9 at 4:30 pm and 5:30 pm

Pricing

FREE first lesson

$40 / half-hour (recommended for beginners)

$60 / 45 minutes (recommended for intermediate students)

$80 / hour (recommended for advanced students)

The balance for the upcoming month is due on the first lesson of the month
