The Pool/Knable Commissioning Project
Bassoonist Scott Pool, in conjunction with TrevCo-Varner Music, announces the joint-commissioning project of a new work for bassoon and piano by composer Sunny Knable. The projected 12-15 minute work (on a New York City theme) will be completed
by September 2013, premiered by Scott Pool in Fall 2013, and published by TrevCo-Varner Music that same year.
Co-commissioners will receive credit on the inside cover of the published work as well as the rights to perform it within the allotted timeline. See below for a sample of Mr. Knable's latest work commissioned by Scott Pool and Natsuki Fukasawa for soprano, bassoon and piano.

Deadline: July 15, 2013.

1st Tier: World-premiere rights, IDRS conference premiere, recording rights and lead commissioning credit
- Scott Pool

2nd Tier: ($150) Co-commissioning credit, 1 bound score and part
& right to perform the piece directly following the world premiere.
3rd Tier: ($100) Co-commissioning credit, piece emailed in pdf & right to perform the work 6 months after the world premiere.
